Low Visual Aids

Patients with subnormal vision which is not corrected with conventional glasses or surgery are referred to this clinic.

Optical low vision aids and non optical low vision aids are dispensed from here which include spectacle magnifiers, hand held magnifiers, stand magnifiers, Telescopes for distance and near vision, etc.

The service has all the necessary vision assessment equipment including logmar charts for the paediatric and adult patients. The low vision assessment inventory includes a full range of different types of telescopes, optical and electronic magnifiers including the cctv and non optical aids.
