After becoming priest he took doctorate in the church’s social teachings from Gregorian university in Rom, Italy. He was a professor in the seminary in sociology. At present hs is the Auxiliary Bishop to the major Archbishop Cardinal Varkey Vithayathil in the archdiocease of Ernakulam–Angamaly and is the chairperson of Little Flower Hospital Trust. He is guiding the social activities in the arch diocease.

He was ordained priest in 1968. He took doctorate in the Sacred Scriptures from the Biblical institute in Rom. He was the chief editor of the Malayalam translation of the Bible brought out by the Bishop’s conference of Kerala. He was the director of the pastoral center of the Archdiocease of Ernakulam-Angamaly. He was serving the catholic community in Delhi. There he started a children’s village. At present he is the director of Little Flower Hospital & Research Centre.

He was parish priest in a number of parishes, he was working as the spiritual leader and organizer of social and charitable activities, number of poor people have benefited from his social leadership as he organized funds from the parish to construct small houses for the poor people. He was secretary to Cardinal Antony Padiyara. At present he is the joint director of Little Flower Hospital & Research Centre. He has obtained Masters in Church Laws

Vicar, St. George’s Forane Church Angamaly , Kerala, India
He was ordained in 1966. He was parish priest in a number of parishes. At present he is the parish priest of St.George’s Forane Church, Angamaly. He is considered as a father to all people in the area, without distinction of cast and creed. And his leadership The Vincent De Paul society has constructed several houses and handed over them to the poor. He is very much concerned about the needs of the poor people and organizing help for them.

Major Archbishop’s House, Ernakulam Kerala, India
He is the procurator of the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly. The social activities carried out directly by the bishop are executed by him. He is organizing the funds for various kind of charitable activities like financial help to the sick, the widows and the poor girls at their marriage time. He had been a good pastor in several parishes. He is energetic and enthusiastic when it comes to helping other people.

Fr.Paul is at present heading the spiritual and counseling department of the hospital. Many people who come to the hospital find peace of mind together with physical health. He obtained PhD in Malayalam Literature, and he is the author of a number of books. He was the principal of an arts college and was the spiritual director cum lecturer in the major seminary.
